This policy describes what personal data yetanotheraicourse.com (operated by Yet Another AI Course, Inc.) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the marketing site, the course platform, and any certificate we issue you.
Account information: your email address and, if you choose to set one, the name shown on your certificate. We do not collect or store passwords for course accounts — sign-in is via a one-time email link.
Course activity: pages read, checkpoint and exam answers and scores, exercise responses you write, and certificate issuance — used to run the product (progress tracking, gating, certificates) and nothing else.
Payment information: processed directly by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference id; we never see or store your card number.
Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
To provide the Service: authenticate you, track and unlock course progress, grade checkpoints and the exam, and issue certificates.
To communicate with you: transactional emails (magic links, receipts, certificate confirmations) and, if you opt in, occasional product updates. We do not send marketing email without consent.
To keep the Service secure and working, including diagnosing errors and preventing abuse of shared seats.
We process account and course-activity data to perform our contract with you (running the course you purchased), and technical/security logs under our legitimate interest in keeping the Service reliable and safe.
We share data with the vendors that run the Service on our behalf — Stripe for payments and Supabase for database and authentication hosting — under their own data-processing terms, and never sell your personal data to third parties or use it to train models outside the product.
We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Yet Another AI Course, our users, or the public.
The Service uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We retain account and course-activity data for as long as your account is active, so your progress and certificate remain available, and for a reasonable period after to satisfy legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can request earlier deletion — see Your rights below.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can correct your certificate name yourself from your dashboard at any time; for anything else, email privacy@yetanotheraicourse.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers, and access to production data is restricted to what is needed to operate the Service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is intended for working professionals and is not directed to, and should not be used by, anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date below.
